Uniqueness - RAPline - 64 of Michigan's 83 counties do not have any shelter specifically designed to handle runaway youth. When a youth calls this line, we can connect him or her to the nearest youth shelter. This makes RAPline the only centralized means in Michigan for runaway adolescents to be placed in contact with the nearest shelter specifically designed to help them.
- RAPline - At a client's request we will contact a parent(s) and pass along messages letting them know that the adolescent is safe.
