Overview: Gateway Community Services operates the following programs: - Crossroads Program - the only homeless teen shelter in the Lansing tri-county area for youth ages 16 to 20. Crossroads provides free shelter, food, and counseling and case management to runaway and homeless youth including pregnant and parenting teens.
- Higher Ground Program - this program provides 24-hour crisis intervention, emergency shelter, outpatient counseling for youth 10 to 17 who are experiencing significant family discord such that they are at-risk for running away. The Higher Ground program staff also provide counseling within local middle and high schools.

Violence Prevention Program - this program is free and is for youth ages 10-18 who are experiencing anger control problems. It's a fifteen-week program facilitated by counselors who are trained to re-direct our struggling future leaders. -
Reach Out Program- a pilot program for the Lansing Public High Schools to provide counseling to youth who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, Bi-Sexual and questioning. -
Youth Workforce Development Program provides low income youth with counseling and training to help them improve their employment skills.
